With the dawn of 2011, companies are hiring. I was doing some reading the other day, and came across a few articles about how recruiters now prefer LinkedIn and other social networks over the more traditional, Monster-type job sites.
I agree with the reasons why. They get more qualified candidates, and in less time.

C/D/H’s internal phone and conferencing system was recently upgraded to Microsoft Lync. And since I like to take calls on the road, I often schedule meetings during this time.
I minimize time in the median getting connected by adding a calendar entry to my phone with a pre-programmed dial sequence that connects me as an authenticated user, with all the power of a Lync “Presenter”, albeit dialed in.
